Bachelor’s Program in Global Issues

Welcome to the University of Tsukuba’s online application system for the Bachelor’s Program in Global Issues. This system is available to international undergraduate applicants in order to complete the online application for AY 2021 admission.

Before You Start… Please Note The Following:
・You don’t have to complete the online application in one sitting; you can save your input and resume later.
・Maximum file size to upload scanned copies of the supporting documents, such as qualification certificates etc., is 5MB for each field.
・Scanned images with pixels 5000 or more in width or height cannot be uploaded.
・Upon completion of the application form, you will be asked to pay the
 examination fee via CREDIT CARD payment.
・Check the online application period and also deadlines for sending the documents by postal mail.

Online Application Period: *JST – Japan Standard Time
・March 1 (Mon.), 2021 (from 12 p.m. JST) to April 2 (Fri.), 2021 (until 5 p.m. JST)

Examination Fee Payment Period:
・For the First Stage Screening:
 From March 1 (Mon.), 2021 (from 12 p.m. JST) to April 2 (Fri.), 2021 (until 5 p.m. JST)
・For the Second Stage Screening:
 From April 23 (Fri.), 2021 (from 12 p.m. JST) to April 30 (Fri.), 2021 (until 5 p.m. JST)

Deadline for Mailing Documents:
・Documetnts sent by postal mail must be received by Friday, April 9, 2021(JST)
 Please check the application guidelines carefully before starting a new application.

Application Procedure:

Sign Up
Create your account by simple sign up procedure. Once you have signed up, you may save and leave the page by clicking on the "Save & Quit" button. You can return to "My Page" at any time by reentering your email address and password to manage the application. However, you must complete and submit it prior to the online application deadline.
Activation
When you have created your account, you will receive a confirmation message at your email address. Click on the URL of the received message to activate your account.
Login to My Page
Login with your email address and password. After login, on the “My Page”, click on the “Application Form” button for the Bachelor's Program in Global Issues to start / manage your application.
Application Form
There are four sections in the Application Form.
1. Applicant’s Information
2. Uploading Documents
3. Eligibility
4. Educational Background
Each section will be saved automatically when you click on “Proceed” button.
Examination Fee Payment for the First Stage Screening
1. ¥4,000 must be paid for the first stage screening by credit card.
2. Upload a scanned image or screen shot of your receipt in JPEG and click on "Submit Payment Information" button.
Submission
By clicking on “Submit to Apply” button, you can complete your online application procedure. Once you have submitted the application data, you will not be able to revise or edit the transmitted data .
Print Out Confirmation Documents in PDF
“Examination ID Card” etc. will be generated in PDF format for printing.
Documentation:

Hardcopy of the required documents sent by postal mail must be received by April 9, 2021

Login with your email address and password.
Examination Fee Payment for the Second Stage Screening
  1. ¥13,000 must be paid for the second stage screening by credit card.
  2. Upload a scanned image or screen shot of your receipt in JPEG and click on "Submit Payment Information" button.
Print Out Confirmation Documents in PDF
“Examination ID Card” etc. will be generated in PDF format for printing.
